Shakira has made a world record with the conclusion of her ‘Oral Fixation’ tour. Now she is looking forward to act rather than going ahead with another of the world tour. Not that she needs to. Her 2005 CD, “Oral Fixation Vol. 2,” has sold more than eight million copies worldwide, and she’s also currently on the top of the charts with “Beautiful Liar,” her duet with Beyonce. “Usually singers are good interpreters, but not good actors,” Shakira said, “so you need to get with a good actors’ director. I would have to if the day comes when I do acting.” So I guess the day is soon approaching now that she has started looking at scripts that are coming her way. Looks like a great future ahead of her.

Shakira’s latest concert at Mexico City saw more than 200,000 people and eventually became the record breaking concert.

According to IMDB, Shakira has broken band Café Tacuba’s record in 2005 of pulling 170,000 crowd to the concert. Great going lady, I am always for you!

Michael Jackson and Sony’s Sony/ATV Music Publishing has acquired Famous Music LLC from Viacom and therefore rights for 125,000 record breaking songs will be with them.

The good news is that Shakira’s ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ is one of the classics selected. The company owns or administers over 500,000 copyrights, including works by The Beatles, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, The Everly Brothers, Hank Williams, Jimi Hendrix and numerous others.

210.000 people gathered at Mexico City’s central Zocalo square for a free Shakira’s concert this Sunday. “This has been a month of absolute joy. I have fed off you, and I leave with my heart full,” Shakira told the crowd. That’s a more than sumptuous meal.

Pop Diva Shakira will give a free concert in Mexico City at the capital’s giant Zocalo square. Sunday’s free concert will be open to domestic and foreign visitors.

“With the aim of converting Mexico City into the Show Capital and offering quality and free artistic events, the government of the Federal District will present Shakira on May 27 at 8 p.m. in the Zocalo,” reads the text of the announcement that is being circulated everywhere. Cafe Tacuba, Mana, Alejandro Fernandez, Juan Gabriel, Chayanne, Pablo Milanes, Miguel Bose and Shakira’s compatriot Juanes are among other performers. Shakira will wrap up this tour on May 30th with a show at the Coca-Cola Auditorium in the northern city of Monterrey.

If rumors are believed Shakira is to wed long time fiancé Antonio de la Rúa in Dominican Republic. A Latin Celebrities Radio Program reported the news yesterday.

The couple is supposed to get married this September. According to newspaper El Dia, a website Labotana said the famous singer’s wedding will be in her mansion located in the resort Punta Cana, in Dominican east coast. Looks like seven years of living together has been fruitful.

The final league of Shakira’s Oral Fixation tour was in Mexico City and the lady’s hip surely didn’t lie at all. She gave a power pact performance for 50, 000 fans in a nearly three hour long show. She has so far given 119 concerts on the Oral Fixation Tour. June 9th is the last date for the tour and after that Shakira would go on a long vacation.

Shakira and Beyonce’s album “Beautiful Liar” has been pushed down to the second number by Pop band McFly on UK’s chart. Shakira’s Album has been in the top slot for quite some time now.
