Everyone knows that Shakira is hot and hep, but no one would have gone to an extent to which Norah Jones went…Jones sure is obsessed with Shakira.

The Jazz star told men’s magazine Maxim ‘she’d give her lover a pass to spend a night with Shakira because she could understand the temptation’. “She’s hot. I like that she’s this pop star, but she’s also kind of unique and weird. I always sing Shakira when I karaoke” adds Jones. Hmm…this is what you call Smitten by Shakira!!!

Mutual admiration is what you can call this. Shakira and Beyonce came together recently to record their first ever duet- “Beautiful Liar”. It comes with 6 mind blowing tracks. And Shakira is all praise for Beyonce: “Beyonce has a very good accent when she sings in Spanish and I think anything that she wants to do she will do just fine, because she is a very determined and focused woman and that is something to admire. She is a great artist. I am very happy and very excited about working with her. I have just finished shooting a video with her. It was a fantastic experience to work with her, to get to know her as the great artist that she is. She is an amazing performer and also a sweet person and a very nice human being and I am so thrilled and thankful for her invitation. It was her idea to make me a part of her album and it has been wonderful.” Good to see some good work happening.

The multiple Grammy award winner Shakira has now become a fashion designer for a great cause of all time. She will design through her partnership with Hard Rock. At Hard Rock Cafe Paris, Shakira unveiled the latest Signature Series T-shirt, featuring a beautiful image which she proudly designed, marking the official worldwide launch of the Shakira Signature Series T-shirt. Proceeds from the sale of the new T-shirt benefit Shakira’s Fundacion Pies Descalzos, which is devoted to finding and providing opportunities for children who are victims of the violence in Colombia and also aims to build new schools and/or improve the infrastructure of existing schools. She is the 23rd rocker and the only second female artist to become part of this campaign.

Though they have been talking for quite long about their mutual admiration, Beyonce and Shakira haven’t actually done much together for their fans. But it is finally going to happen- Beyonce and Shakira will be seen singing together in “Beautiful Liar” and will be featured on Beyoncé B’Day - Deluxe Edition, a double-disc set due on April 3. Beyonce explains the reason for the name with Shakira’s permission “I think it’s so great because it’s about a guy who’s kind of playing both of us, and instead of us arguing over the guy we say, ‘Forget him. Let’s stick together. He’s a beautiful liar” Great combo boss, I am waiting for the record to release.

Grammy awards last night saw some groovy numbers from Shakira nd Wyclef. But I think the shakes of Shakira were taking a toll on ‘Clef as he could just not take his hand away from his package. The man fiddled with his junk almost twenty times before the camera!!! And everyone could sing “I can see your body moooooooooooving”.

Famous reggaeton producers Luny Tunes and Tainy have come together to accompany Shakira and Alejandro Sanz. “This is another great opportunity in our career. To work with artists like Shakira and Alejandro Sanz is a challenge for us and gives us lots of satisfaction because the music they do doesn’t necessarily belong to the urban genre,” said the producers, who have worked with artists like Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, and Wisin & Yandel on reggaeton, and Paris Hilton, Janet Jackson, and JLo for the English-speaking market. They are also into releasing their own labeled records with several artists.

It is going to be grand and it is going to be the first time. Yes the international singing sensation Shakira will perform for the main event for Grammys along with Wyclef Jean on February 11. Just few days ahead of the awards a host of new stars have been added to the list of stars performing live for the event. So we will see Shakira shaking left and right towards Grammy.

Shakira’s European tour has been making too much news off late but this one I promise is new. It is a known fact that the Latino pop singer is promoting the charity organization Fundación Pies Descalzos or Bare Feet Foundation that helps provide Colombian children with better education and nutrition, with this tour. Spanish Car Company is doing more to help the charity by not just sponsoring the tour but also by teaming up with the pop star in creating a car for the foundation’s fundraiser which will run until May. Now that’s some gold with glamour!
