Michael Bloomberg- the big apple’s mayor just does not use his ipod for studying Spanish. How do we know that? Sources have revealed that the mayor is totally for the gyrating Spanish star’s moves and even backed her at the MTV video music awards.Bloomberg passed over the other nominated artists, Madonna, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Panic! At the Disco and even Christina Aguilera, who’s from Staten Island.

In a taped spot that aired on MTV’s “Total Request Live” daily countdown show, Bloomberg defended his choice by noting the truth in the title of Shakira’s smash single “Hips Don’t Lie,” which refers to her famous curves.

“I think I’m going to have to go with Shakira - those hips don’t lie,” Bloomberg said.

Well i personally think Wycleaf Jones needs to step down and let the mayor do some singing!

Shakira shocked people was she made a rare party appearance at Wyclef Jean’s party recently.

But she had some conditions and rather wierd conditions, “she wanted some space free of cocktail glasses so she could walk barefoot and demanded eight bottles of Herradura tequila ready.”

Well…so if you want Shakira to grace your party all you have to do is to allot her space to walk barefoot and eight bottles of Herradura tequila…and dont forget to have extra security that can take care of the commotion and last but not the least…a crazy fan who is willing to waste $3,000 just to enter in her security zone.

So after MTV video awards performance with Indian moves, Shakira is gonna use the same Choreographer for her next music video.

The Choreographer, Farah Khan says “Shakira is so impressed with the classical and semi-classical mudras (dance steps) I made her do for the song she performed at the MTV awards that she expressed a desire to work with me”.

And the lady is on a high because Shakira wants her to direct her next music video. “She is definitely clued in to Bollywood dance and wants me to incorporate it in her next music video, which she wants me to direct for her.” says Khan.

Farah Khan has already been in the international circuit which she stared off with composing the moves for Andrew Llyoyd Webber’s “Bombay Dreams”… a broadway superhit.
