This is not the first time we hear Beyonce Knowles go ga ga over Colombia’s golden girl Shakira. She was initially very fond of Shakira and she has got more fond of her eversince the two worked on Beyonce’s forthcoming single ‘Beautiful Liar’.

“I have always loved her and I have always wanted to work with her and the song fits perfectly.It basically talks about two women - the same guy is trying to get at both of them but instead of them fighting, they are saying, ‘He’s a beautiful liar, let’s not fight, let’s stick together. Forget him!’ I think it’s a great concept,” Beyonce was quoted as saying by a source.

The concept is certainly good… and what a treat will it be to watch these two beautiful women set the screen on fire.

Its not often you get to see the babe sizzling and sunbathing in a bikini. This is an old pic though, but that guy beside her isn’t her boyfriend or ex-boyfriend… seems to be a pal.

Shakira is going to reach the age-milestone of 30, in February this New Year. She is reigning the pop charts today both in Latin and English music… her personal life is perfectly in-sync with her professional life… equally harmonious and successful… so what is on Shakira’s mind next.

She is going steady with boyfriend Antonio De La Rua since last five years and has already decided to marry him.

“Shakira has already made the decision to marry Antonio de la Rúa,” said the newspaper, adding that “when she was on tour in Buenos Aires she also said that her wishes to become a mother are getting more and more intense.”

So is wedding on the cards for Shakira? Guess so… may be after she gets back after her Tour of Europe the coming New Year. She has also thought of signing a Pre-nuptial contract with De La Rua in which Antonio would renounce any right to the fortune she has earned over the course of her career, avoiding possible future problems. She didn’t wanna end up like Paul McCartney.

ALPE (Latin Show Business Journalists Association) was honouring the Latin stars yet again. .. they have voted Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin artist of the year… he was named the Brightest Star of 2006 for getting along best with entertainment journalists and for giving the best interviews.

They voted for our Columbian crooners Shakira and Juanes as Star Heart for their efforts to protect two of the most helpless sections of society.

Seems like Shakira wants to chill out and rejuvenate her spirits after a tiring tour of Latin America. After inaugurating her charity organisation ALAS, she has been keeping a low profile ever since.

Sources say she has been working with Beyonce on her forthcoming album…and spending time with her family and partying with her beau Antonio De La Rua.

She has an entire tour of Europe lined up in the coming year. I hope the break fills in more energy in her performances and makes them more thrilling than ever.

Looking at her chiseled abs that allow her to make those snake like moves and those pelvic thrusts, one must be wondering what on earth does the woman eat to maintain abs like that.

If you thought she turning a vegan had something to do with that…then you are wrong buddy because Shakira couldn’t stay a vegan for long.

She revealed,

“I always try to kind of eat in a balanced way. I became vegetarian not too long ago. But I quit! [Laughs] It only lasted two months.”

Hoping she wasn’t inspired by PETA, what made Shakira go vegan.

She says, “Right after one of my tours, I spent a few months in Spain on a farm. The guy who sells the bread in the town next to my farm gave me three chickens and a rooster. I felt so attached to those chickens that I was thinking, “Oh my God, I’m never gonna eat chicken again! These chickens are my friends!” I gave them names and everything. Then I said, “OK, why eat chickens just because I don’t know them?”

Shakira has shaken her hips and squeezed into our hearts for sure… her looks, her groovy moves made my heart go pit pat at least!!!! N trust me, coz I identify with her as when I say that…

But every good force needs to be strongly channellized in order to reach its target… and Shakira’s in-comprehendible lyrics had to be driven into every home to drive her to success!!!!

One such force which helped her as an entrant into the industry was 3, the mobile media company… it was her videos which flashed on every multimedia mobile handset and 3 was more or less responsible for that! And it’s not just her… 3 has already been instrumental in helping artists such as Chamillionaire, Gnarls Barklay and James Blunt too feature in the list of celebs who got famous with the help of 3…
